On November 4th WashU Crew raced at the 2017 Head of the Hooch Regatta in Chattanooga, TN for our last competition of 2017. Despite the fog delays that caused changes to the schedule throughout the day, the Bears had a successful day of racing, and our Men’s 8+ brought home a bronze medal in the Men’s College and Club 8+ event! Our results are as follows:

30th out of 38 in the Women’s Novice 8+
12th out of 29 in the Men’s Novice 8+
15th out of 53 in the Women’s 4+
10th and 22nd out of 58 in the Men’s 4+
13th out of 26 in the Women’s 8+
3rd out of 35 in the Men’s 8+

We are also particularly excited about the improvements made from last year’s Head of the Hooch results in the following events: Men’s Novice 8+, Women’s Novice 8+, Men’s 8+, Women’s 8+, and Women’s 4+. We are looking forward for this upward trend to continue through the second half of the 2017-2018 rowing season!
